Happy April

Just a quick update to let you all know what's currently going on.... quite a bit (although not all technically involved in my writing).

Firstly, work on the new Southern Empire set is now well under way and should be ready for release come June/July. No firm date as yet, but I hope to have an update on that soon.

Although, and this is the secondly, I'm off to enjoy a fortnight in lovely Brittany at the end of the week, so not much actual writing will occur whilst I'm off. Having said that, the trip will allow me to check out a few things for the next instalment of the Twistleton Chronicles.

For those of you that are unaware of the fact, Brittany has a rich history of Celtic and Arthurian mythology, which sounds about perfect for an apprentice witch to discover on a school trip to the see such things as the standing stones at Carnac (a World Heritage Site). Personally, I'm looking forward to visiting the Rock of the Fairies, just outside Rennes.

Hopefully, I'll return from France fully refreshed, ready to finish one book, and full of ideas for the next one.

Watch out for An Empire's Dawn this summer, and Em and the Fairies Wings come the fall.
